Our Technology

LAMINA’S TECHNOLOGY OFFERS A RADICALLY NEW APPROACH TO A BROAD RANGE OF REGENERATIVE APPLICATIONS

Lamina’s technology consists of a three-dimensional biodegradable wound dressing with nano-reservoirs including active therapeutics in combination with patient’s own stem cells.
This unique multifunctional approach offers a whole new generation of implantable medical devices for regenerative medicine addressing unmet medical needs in the field of orthopaedics, maxillofacial and periodontal lesions, using minimally invasive techniques.

Our first-in-class lamina.ONE kit consists of a nano-reservoir membrane to be used in combination with multiple components to regenerate simultaneously bone and cartilage:
:: Totally biodegradable clinical grade nanoporous and nanofibrous polymer scaffolds for cell contact-dependent delivery
:: Hydrogel in combination with variety of components of choice; e.g. therapeutics, stem cells and vectors
:: Unique controlled release of growth factors from nano-reservoirs (nanoscale) while incorporating stem cells enhancing proliferation for controlled regeneration of cartilage
:: Repairing cartilage in a more stable way through regeneration of the subchondral bone, acting as glue between bone and cartilage
:: Calcium chloride hydrogel for jellification and migration stem cells allowing faster bone and cartilage repair

Lamina.ONE is moving into Phase I/II clinical trials in 2023
